Despite their comfortable but mundane life, Anna questions the validity of this test and starts working for the Love Institute under Duncan's guidance, where couples undergo a test and receive training to deepen their bonds. Paired with the experienced and charming Amir, Anna helps couples strengthen their relationships through various activities, leading her to question whether trusting her own feelings might be a better measure of true love than relying on the institute's machine.
